Box.net allows you to backup, protect, access, and share your files online, as well as to work on your files from anywhere. You can protect your important files while still collaborating and sharing certain files with others, with no software to install.
Box.net builds off the basic online storage service to offer so much more. Below we'll look at each member level.
Box for Individuals
Box for individuals lets you store files securely in your "Box" and then access them anywhere from a web browser (whether it's on your desktop computer, laptop, or mobile phone.) You can also share your files if you want, by simply sending someone a link to the file - no email attachments required. You can also use Box for storing photos to add to your eBay auctions.
The online interface is quite similar to the regular box.net website:

I should also mention a neat way of uploading your files - you can simply email them to upload@box.net and they will be placed in your account! (The email will have to be associated with your account, though; be careful if you have five different email addresses!)

Even more interesting, in my opinion, is being able to edit your files online. Box integrated Zoho, a leading provider of online document editing, into your account area so that you can edit Word and Excel documents quickly and efficiently without having to download them.
After your 14-day free trial, the Individual plan is $7.95 per month for 5 GB of space and unlimited bandwidth, with a 1 GB file size limit.
Box for Businesses
With Box Business, you get all of the basic features, but your storage space is bumped up to 15 GB and there are valuable tools added in. You can securely invite colleagues and clients into your account to collaborate on files, and you can easily supervise the projects in a shared workspace, whether your colleagues are in the next room or the next hemisphere!
The business account comes to $19.95 per month.
Box for Enterprises
Box Enterprise is for large businesses and offers multiple Business-level accounts in one package. The features are similar to Box Business, but Box Enterprise allows you to scale Box accounts across an entire organization.
Overall opinion: Box sounds like a quality product, but the Individual account is a little pricey for all you get. It's not much different from XDrive or ADrive, and both of those services are free. However, the Business account is a good value at $19.95 because it is the only online storage service that offers such extensive collaboration and online file editing capabilities.
